LA Bodywork Brings Elite Recovery at the 7th Annual Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, CA — Under the skies of the Coachella Valley, LA Bodywork proudly returned for the third year to support players at the 7th Annual Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic, held at the prestigious Big Horn Golf Club on May 18–19, 2025. Hosted by the Anderson Family Foundation, the weekend tournament brought together an all-star cast of athletes, entertainers, and wellness experts—all playing for a purpose.

Raising Funds for a Powerful Cause

This year’s tournament wasn’t just about drives and putts—it was a fundraiser with deep impact for charitable causes. Proceeds supported the Anderson Family Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Anthony Anderson, with a mission to uplift inner-city communities, especially those who often don’t receive the help they need.

The foundation’s initiatives focus on education, health, wellness, faith, and mentorship, including college scholarships at Anderson’s alma mater and nonprofit partnerships that support children, young adults, and underserved adults.

A Weekend of Purpose & Play

The weekend kicked off in style with a VIP Welcome Reception & Pairings Party on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at BIGHORN Golf Club. From 6:00–10:00 PM, guests enjoyed gourmet dinner, premium cocktails, a cigar lounge, and mingling with celebrity athletes and entertainers. A live and silent auction kept the energy high and helped boost fundraising efforts.

Whether they were first to tee off or swinging at sunset, celebrity golfers turned to LisaMarie Arreguin and the LA Bodywork team for relief and recovery between holes.
